Welcome back! I'm back for at least the next ten days...I have been stamping and been very busy working on swaps for Convention 2013. Prior to that I was working on entry for the 2013 Artisan Award. I was not a winner, but I wanted to show you my projects. I apologize that I did not get very good pictures of my projects. I ran time down to the very last minute and even had to pay $50 to overnight my projects to Stampin' Up!
If you just came from Pam's blog then your on the right track for the Artisan Entry Blog Hop, if not you can start the hop right here and it will take you through all the blogs posting non-winning entries for 2013. I have chosen to start and end with my 3-D items and then alternated my cards and scrapbook pages. These will all be posted within the next 10 days, so be sure to bookmark my blog and come back to see all 10 projects!
The first 3-D item is my first initial twilled. This was my first attempt at twilling and it is kind of fun. So without further ado, here is my project.
The colors are Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Basic Gray, Basic Black, and Wisteria Wonder. I used the Designer Series DSP for the twilling parts and the border and then cardstock for the butterflies. I then added rhinestones to the butterflies. The ribbon was from the Seasonal Catalog and was the 1 1/2" satin two tone basic grey/basic black.
Here are all the people participating in this year's hop. Please stop by everyone of them to all the beautiful items they created. And don't forget to come back tomorrow for one of my card creations!
